First In A Series
This book 2009: Change is the start of a, hopefully, long running series that will catalog my life through photography. I am often behind a camera lens on many trips and at events. I publish many photos into facebook albums, but I have never been satisfied by tagged photos in a digital album. I really appreciate the physical object and I look forward to having a shelf with a series of photography books in the future.
I published my book through a service called Blurb. What attracted me to this company over the many other photobook services was Blurb’s focus on designers. I was able to lay out my book in Indesign and upload a print ready pdf. That way I wouldn’t have to deal with a clunky online layout program.
Another great feature is Blurb’s bookstore where I can sell books, and even present full length previews online. Below is a look into my first book.
Overall I am very happy with the results and look forward to working on my 2010 book.
