Join the SEAL Brotherhood
The SEAL Brotherhood is an outreach campaign designed to educate young men about career opportunities with the U.S. Navy SEALs. Within the SEAL community there is a strong belief that a SEAL cannot be “recruited,” it is something you have to be born with. With that in mind we created a campaign that focuses on exposing young men to leadership and physical fitness lessons from America’s foremost covert warriors. From there it is up to each young man to look within themselves to find out if they are SEAL material.
Within the SEAL community there is a strong belief that a SEAL cannot be “recruited,” it is something you have to be born with.
The campaign has two major components. First is the microsite where users can log on, create profiles join teams and complete SEAL-inspired missions that range from physical challenges to mental quizzes. The website was developed with a desktop and mobile version, so even while out performing missions, users can check in and record their progress.
The second component are outreach events where young men can connect with real active duty Navy SEALs as they impart leadership and mental toughness lessons and engage one-on-one. Attendees to events received the official SEAL Brotherhood handbook as well as other promotional items to help educate them about the SEALs. From there they can take the lessons they have learned back to their everyday life, or if they decide they have the desire they can make the commitment themselves.
