Bike To Work Day 2011
Today was bike to work day and I decided, despite the afternoon rain forecasts, that I would peddle my way to work. It was a beautiful ride!

My 10 miles today was a bit harder than usual, due to the leg workout I did in the morning before I left, but I peddled on and put in an alright, but not spectacular time. It felt really good to be back outside after a whole week stuck doing metro commutes due to all the rain we’ve had lately.
I will be riding back in to Capitol Hill tonight so I may update this post later with those stats as well. Got my fingers crossed for no rain!

The “pit stop” in Rosslyn had bagels and other delicious snacks, you should have stopped too! According to your map you went right by it. They didn’t ask for registration info to get a shirt, just asked the size. Did you notice more bike commuters than usual today?
Maybe! Was running a bit late. I always seem to miss the pit stops every year for some reason or other.
