The Beefcake Vs. The Beef
At SmithGifford we like our Elevation Burger. All organic beef with fries and a Black cherry shake make for a fantastic lunch. Still for all the good of Elevation some in the office have always been less than impressed with the overall size of the burgers on offer.
One of the more vocal critic Ernie, an account supervisor and avid biker, fitness guru/gym rat never could never get enough out of just one of their burgers. His frequent complaints led to a challenge and a bit of fun for the office.
Elevation has what they call a Vertigo burger where up to ten patties can be stacked atop one another. Could this possibly be enough for Ernie? Could he finish all that beef, and do it in under 15 minutes? That was the challenge, and he accepted.
An epic battle like this deserved promoting so I designed several posters that went over very well around the office and were posted around town to hopefully get a good crowd going.
So on the day in question how did Ernie fare? Was he able to do it?
Final results, Ernie DESTROYED it. Finishing the entire burger along with fries in just over 12 minutes. Obviously we had no idea who we were messing with.
Word of advice, do not get between this man and his lunch. Great job Ernie!
